Claude Aimée Villeneuve (b. Canada) graduated from Concordia University (Montreal) with a BFA (1991). She took lithography courses at the Saydie Bronfman School of Fine Arts (1992-1993). Claude then joined Evelyn Dufour’s printmaking studio where she perfected her lino & woodcuts and experimented with collagraphs & monoprints. In 2002 she took a workshop in Japanese woodcut techniques with printmaker Graham Scholes. Claude is a member of the Association of Visual Artists of Quebec (RAAV), and an honorary member of Expression Graphics in Oak Park, IL. She has contributed to many international printmaking portfolios and hand papermaking exchanges. Her work has been exhibited in Canada, the US, and overseas. Claude gives demos and workshops in printmaking and hand papermaking to adults and children.
