Leslie Jiménez • Catching the Magic, 2018 Screen-print
Water remains a source of wonder and mystery. Its origins, it’s properties and its future still uncertain yet it is one element we need and hope we have access to. In this artwork a child looks at the water left after the rain. She stares closely at the last drops falling and catching the magic of the tiny clear domes forming as they fall among the greenery of a city sidewalk garden next to her unworn to the left.
