Ginny Sykes (b. Washington DC) is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work includes painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, installation, public art, and performance. Ginny has a BFA from Washington University in St. Louis and studied classical art at Studio Cecil-Graves in Florence, Italy. She has taught at SAIC, Columbia College Chicago and in numerous arts residency programs. She has exhibited in the US and internationally and has completed over 40 public art projects including Rora, which received an award from The American Society of Landscape Architects (1999), and “On the Wings of Water” (2007) at O’Hare airport in Chicago.
