Pulido was born in La Piedad, Michoacán. In 1974 he moved to the United States. He resides in Chicago where he attended the School of the art Institute of Chicago taking figure drawing and painting. He was an active member of the Mexican Printmakers Workshop in Chicago. He has exhibited in dozens of collective exhibitions in United States and Mexico including: Galería Arte de México -Mexican Cultural and Educational Institute, Chicago Betty Rymer Gallery – School of the art Institute of Chicago Field Museum of Chicago Hope College Art Gallery, Michigan. He has shown individually in a half dozen places including Gallery Prospectus and Jumping Bean in Chicago.
