Catherine Cajandig (b. USA) is a painter, printmaker and muralist. She received a BAE and MAE from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago and a MFA from Instituto Allende, University of Guanajuato, Mexico. She majored in painting and printmaking with special emphasis in lithography. She studied classical Japanese printmaking, ukiyo-e color print techniques with Ansei Uchima. Her most recent prints are linocuts and monotypes and she gives workshops and demos in these medias. Catherine has had fourteen one woman shows. Her work has been exhibited in many shows throughout US, Italy, Mexico and Spain and has been represented in books and other published works.
