BettyAnn Mocek (b. Chicago, IL) is Professor of Art at Concordia University Chicago since 2002 and Gallery Director of Concordia’s Ferguson Art Gallery. She received her M.F.A. in Printmaking from the University of Minnesota, Mpls. BettyAnn creates prints, drawings and mixed-media works of art. She was awarded the Chicago Artists’ Coalition’s Service to the Visual Arts Award in Chicago, received the honor of Woman of the Year by the Chicago Society of Artists, and was Recipient of a Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs Grant. Her works are in numerous public and private collections, including The Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing, China.
