Catherine Cajandig is a painter, printmaker, muralist and educator. She received a BAE and MAE from the School of the Art Institute and a MFA from Instituto Allende from University of Guanajuato, Mexico. She majored in painting and printmaking emphasis in lithography. She studied classical Japanese Ukiyo-e color print techniques with Ansei Uchima. Catherine has had fifteen solo shows and received many grants and awards. Her work has been exhibited in juried and invitational exhibitions in the US, Italy, Spain and Mexico.
