Juan Pablo Luna (b. 1973 Morelia, Mexico) is self taught. Attended many workshops: with Cuban artist Rafael Paneca (prints with PVC, 1995), José de Jesús Martínez (etching, 1999), Pablo Amor (encaustic painting, 1999), Pablo Rulfo (oil painting, 2002), Ismael Guardado (frescoe painting, 2003), Jan Hendrixs (copper intaglio 2004) and Nunik Sauret (printmaking, 2005). He received printmaking prizes and grants from the state of Michoacan from 1996-2002. Juan Pablo has presented more then a dozen solo exhibitions in several cities in Mexico and in France. He participated in many group exhibitions in the United States, France and throughout Mexico.
